5" Gauge 4 Wheel Chassis Frame Kit

A simple 4 wheel wagon chassis for 5" gauge, supplied as a bolt together kit.

The frame is constructed from laser cut and folded steel, with 6mm holes on the top of the channel sections for you to fit your own floor or body to.

CNC machined wheels and axles, running in sealed roller bearings.

Parts are supplied unpainted.

Available as an unsprung chassis with 'pillow block' type bearings, or a sprung chassis using our Small W Irons.

• 2 x buffer beams
• 4 x Channel to buffer beam angles
• 2 x Assembled 5" gauge wheelsets (wheels & axles)
• 4 x pillow block bearings
• 2 x single slot type couplings
• All nuts and bolts required to finish

Option 2 - Sprung Kit

Kit comprises:

• 2 x side channels
• 2 x buffer beams
• 4 x Channel to buffer beam angles
• 2 x Assembled 5" gauge wheelsets (wheels & axles)
• 4 x Small W Irons, Axleboxes and Springs
• 2 x single slot type couplings
• All nuts and bolts required to finish

 Wheelsets can be supplied unassembled if you wish to fit sprockets or gears - please let us know when you place your order if you would like this (a press will be required to assemble the wheels onto the axles).
